HUKUM MAKAN LANDAK LAUT (SEA URCHIN)

Sebelum ini, ada yang bertanya tentang hukum makan landak laut. Apabila melibatkan hidupan laut yang kelihatan luar biasa seperti landak laut, ianya boleh menjadi persoalan kepada sesetengah pihak.

Berdasarkan prinsip asas fiqh Islam, dalil al-Quran, hadis Nabi SAW serta pandangan Mazhab Syafi‘i, semua hidupan laut adalah halal dimakan tanpa memerlukan sembelihan selagi ianya tidak memudaratkan. Justeru, landak laut termasuk dalam kategori makanan yang halal dimakan oleh orang Islam.
